I do a lot of programming in my job. Well, actually right now, that's about all I do.
My code can take some time to run, like, weeks, even after I managed to parallelize it. I was writing up my results for a technical report, and noticed I had made some inconsistent assumptions in the specification. I was reviewing the code to help me write a description of the model, when I noticed this error.
God damned it. I'd been analyzing the results of the simulations for the last three weeks, but now I realized this mistake. It probably won't change the results, and I learned how to analyze this model which was a valuable exercise. Still, I need to re-run the analysis. Mother of God.
